About the CVRT

All commercial vehicles in Ireland that are over 1 year old must have a valid CVRT. Please contact us to ensure your commercial vehicle is compliant. If you're not sure what category of test you require a member of our team who will be happy to help. The CVRT test must be taken and passed every year for new certificate to be issued.

Whilst you will NOT require a VLC/logbook you will need to bring your driver’s license or passport to the test. If you don't then your test will be cancelled. If your vehicle passes, then the RSA will post you a Certificate of Road Worthiness. If your vehicle fails, you will be issued a statement with your obligations to repair and retest.

Keelcom are members of the Vehicle Testers Network. The VTN is the voice of the independent test centres that are appointed in each County by the relevant Local Authority. Our membership of the VTN gives our customers the re-assurance that Keelcom and our expert vehicle testers are operating to the highest international standards.
